Happy Independence Days 65th! 🇲🇾
It's been 65 years since then. The sound of a joyous seven-times Merdeka chant reverberated across The Merdeka Stadium on 31st August 1957, and can still be heard today. On this day, Malaysians from all backgrounds, races and religions celebrate together harmoniously because this day was the day that Malaysia was free from the British. Thanks to Malaysia's then Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman. Now, independence day is celebrated every year without fail.
I-City also doesn't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate Merdeka day with you. There are so many activities we would like to share with you guys in this special month. Merdeka decoration will be up around I-City, so don't forget to take an awesome picture with your loved one. Besides, we also provide a food truck at the City of Digital Light such as Sekinchan Fruit Shake, Melawati Kebab Fairuz, Street Foodie and Malaysian signature Durian stall. Not to forget, there will be a live band to make your day even more colourful while enjoying great food and view. Our food truck is waiting for you from the 19th to the 28th of August, every Friday to Sunday, and from the 30th to 31st of August 2022.
Furthermore, I-City would like to offer several packages with affordable prices which are 'AllDay Happiness Pass' for you if you like to stay with us from day until night, and the 'WaterWorld Package' to explore our water adventure and enjoy freezing Antarctic experience with 'SnoWalk Package'.
